Journal: Chasing Balance & Romanticizing Life

In nearly every season of my life, I have viewed balance as a key goal, believing that my ability to achieve it would reflect how well I was managing. Naturally, striving for perfect balance has always been my New Year's resolution. However, after launching Nessa Interiors last year, I discovered that this perfect work-life harmony is more myth than reality.

During a particularly challenging period of my life filled with uncertainty, I turned to music and books for solace. Last year, I dove into biographies of talented women entrepreneurs, seeking guidance on their day-to-day strategies and eager to know the hidden secrets to their success.

Their stories illuminated crucial lessons about the importance of time management, establishing healthy boundaries, and the undeniable necessity of prioritizing self-care. This discovery has not only broadened my horizons but also ignited a sense of motivation and hope for my own path ahead in this newly found world of NessaSary and Nessa Interiors. While honing the craft of time management may be the goal here, the question still arises: how can we ensure that our time spent on this journey feels truly meaningful? The answer can be summed up in one word: romance.

Embracing this romanticized perspective on my daily life has enriched both my personal and professional life. The daily sensory pockets has helped me appreciate moments of rest and focus on genuine connections where it matters most. This chill yet efficient outlook has encouraged me to focus on purposefulness, valuing the quality of my relationships and possessions over mere quantity.

This year, I anticipate embracing more of these romantic intentions as I lean on hope for the possibilities ahead.
